Nanning BRT Update (2016/6/29)
Nanning BRT corridor broke ground early this year and planned to be open at the same time with Nanning metro line 1 in October 2016 .The whole construction period is divided into three stages:
- The first stage will last for 1 months, mainly for road widening at platform section;
- The second stage will last for 4 months, mainly for BRT station, BRT lane and pedestrian bridge construction;
- The last stage is for the final pavement of asphalt for the whole corridor.
On 10th. March 2016, three stations B14, B15 and B16 officially broke earth in Changhong road. And after 3 months the foundation of pedestrian bridge has been basically completed.

In the middle of June, station B11, B12 and B13 started construction, Changhong and Changgang road had been partly closed for construction.

On 19th. June 2016, tree removing work first started along Minzhu road. About 211 Banyan trees planned to be removed and 90 percent of these Banyan trees will be replanted after construction. 18 Almond trees along Chaoyang road and some small trees in Changgang road planned to be removed later. Tree removing work would be finished at the end of June.
