The second China Cycling Conference opened in Shenzhen on 11/19, 2016
9 o’clock On November 19, the second China Cycling Conference officially opened to the convention center in Shenzhen Nanshan firm sinovac science zone. During this conference, the development of green transportation, the traditional public bicycle and the opportunity and challenge of the new Shared cycling have become hot topics of the conference. ITDP is one main joint sponsor of the conference and Mr. Shao-kun Liu, the deputy director of ITDP-China attended this meeting, giving a speech about the development of China's electric cycles and its prospect, delivering a keynote address to create a safe riding environment.

In the morning of November 20, 2016, Mr. Shaokun Liu joined “creating a safe riding environment project” sub-conference, introduced e-bicycles problems confronted by the present situation of the electric bicycle and carried on the detailed and professional discussion and analysis, including the development course of China's electric bicycle in mobile environment changing, etc., at the same time as the traditional electric car industry standards and lack of corresponding legislation system, and other aspects of the in-depth discussion. Finally at this speech, Shaokun called on all parts of force of urban electric bicycle attention, rather than a simple banning.

On this meeting, Shuangjian from ITDP-China as well had a speech about cycle sharing system, the hot topic in China and shared ideas with other experts in China and even all over the world.
